Now see! Clipped ends and now more length! The only thing in my hair is twist and loc gel and frizzbuster. Nothing with alcohol in it! I Don't use shampoo everytime i wash my hair (everytime i take a shower) because of the detergents they use to give u all those bubbles and lather dry your hair out. Instead i use lemon juice in my conditioner which strips the impurities in a natural way. Don' t thank me thank Queen Afua!

Make sure to clip those ends!

If you are anything like any woman goin against the grain and taking the relaxer out of your life you tend to cling to your hair as it is growing back. However when your ends are split that is as good as dead hair. The strand continues to split all the way down to the root until it falls out. And when you go to flat iron it the ends look like this. this is the way my BFF would clip my ends when i flat iron it the frayed ends are what she cuts at. I swear each time she clipped my ends i had a growth spurt with my length

My version of a ponytail

So i finally got fed up with only being able to wear my hair in the couple of different ways i wanted a ponytail so bad! LOL So i brushed and brushed and just as a way to not let that brushing go waste while i took a break (thick headed sistahs know) i just threw a banana clip in and guess what yall ...it looked cute! So i wore it that way for a while. Like i said my hair has been uneven so at this point the front was shorter than the back so i pinned a lil hump in the front (like a bumpit) and rocked it like that. people kept calling me Eva Pigford i ate it up and kept it going. With the length its grown to now it looks like a fauxhawk when i do it!

As you can see I am the only "model" being used on this page. Let's do something positive together and spread the word that we dont have to hide or run from our history any longer! You can do it!

See when you pull them apart the right way its thousands of tight curls! As it got longer people would ask if i had a straw set. It also trained my hair i believe thats why it was "extra" curly all the time. I never knew what to do with the sides because i let my hair grow out from a "style" it was always uneven growing in. I should have trimmed it properly but you wanna hold on to every piece when you want it to grow! Ladies?
